Since its creation 10 years ago the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation has provided financial support to more than 640 projects in more than 100 countries.
In 2010, the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation gave awards to 12 European nations for new projects in the Balkans, the Caucasus and elsewhere.
The U.S. National Park Service, which manages sites and structures that have played significant roles in the nation’s history, is engaged in preserving and interpreting the American past.
