U.S. Consulate Sends Azorean Students to Disney World and East Carolina University

Two hospitality and culinary students from Portugal’s Azores Autonomous Region departed for a six-month Work-Study Program at Walt Disney World and East Carolina University.  Announcement of the program was made at a January 5 press conference and send off ceremony.  Sponsored by Consulate Ponta Delgada, the Regional Government of the Azores, the Escola de Formação Turística e Hoteleira, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, the program is now in its fifth year.
