Discussing Elections with Students at the American Corner Erbil

Kim Krhounek, Director of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs at the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, spoke to 25 students at the American Corner in Erbil about the results of the 2012 U.S. elections focusing on the presidential and congressional elections. Students from the English department at Salahanddin University attended the lecture and asked questions about the complicated electoral college process and other unique U.S. election procedures. Life-sized cutouts of President Obama and Mitt Romney also made an appearance at the lecture.
