Routine notarial and passport services are scheduled through an online appointment system.  Customers who arrive after their scheduled appointment time may be turned away.  Before you schedule an appointment, please read the information on our website about the service that you need and complete any necessary application forms. 

U.S. citizens needing emergency services do not need an appointment.  During business hours the American Citizen Services unit can be reached at +38-044-521-5566.  The after-hours emergency number is +38-044-521-5000. 

Please email the American Citizen Services Unit if you need a service that is not included in our online system – including questions about Social Security or other federal benefits – or if you have several people that need service at the same time. 

Please note that the American Citizen Services unit will not be able to answer visa-related inquiries.  All questions related to visas (immigrant and non-immigrant) are answered by our Call Center. 

NOTE: Fees for consular services can be paid either in U.S. dollars or Ukrainian hryvnyas.  There is an ATM machine located in our waiting room which can be used to withdraw hryvnyas.  We accept major credit cards for passports, birth registrations, and notarials (visa fees must be paid in cash).  A complete list of fees can be accessed at the U.S. Department of State website on Passport Fees page and Fees for Visa Services page.
