Ambassador Jacobson’s Remarks at the Inauguration of the completion of First Phase of the Renovation Project at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo

It is a pleasure and honor for me to be here with the Minister at the University Clinical Center.

I am proud that we were able to finish such a project in the field of healthcare. Today marks the completion of Phase 1, but we still need to continue the work here at the center. I saw the work that has been done; it is very beautiful and I am happy that we are improving conditions for both patients and the staff.

This project is a good example of European Command’s interest in supporting development in Kosovo, not just in defense, but also in education and health.

I want to thank Minister Agani and Director Gashi, as well as the Directors of both clinics for their great cooperation and I am sure this great cooperation will continue in the future.
