Fukuoka American Center Reference Service (FACRS) can meet information needs of Japanese professionals in the news media, academia, think tanks, government agencies, and the public.

Our collection of materials, our access to U.S. Government reports, our ability to sort through online data and – most importantly – the expertise of our staff allows us to help our users find and interpret the most up-to-date and accurate information about U.S. policies and politics, economics and society, particularly as they affect Japan and the U.S.-Japan relationship.

For those who wish to receive periodic information bulletins from us, we offer the U.S. Info Alert e-mail service.

Please make an appointment before you come to the FACRS for research or complex questions. Prior appointments allow us to provide you with better service.
