The Treasury Department is committed to making its Web Site accessible to all citizens. The Department's web site is undergoing redesign to ensure that it meets or exceeds the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998 (29 U.S.C. 794) and the accessibility standards issued by the Access Board. Many of our pages now meet the standard but we are continually working to make all pages accessible. We are working to make our site compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Web site standards as well as those of the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative.

Section 508 requires that individuals with disabilities, who are members of the public seeking information or services from us, have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to that provided to the public who are not individuals with disabilities.
