This intermediate course is for fusion center analysts and is designed to serve as a regional delivery, meaning analysts from fusion centers within the State or in neighboring States are encouraged to participate, based upon available space.
The introductory course is a prerequisite for the intermediate course for all attending analysts.
This on-site three-day course will support the fusion center’s ability to achieve Critical Operational Capability 2: Analyze, which is defined as the “ability to assess local implications of threat information through the use of a formal risk assessment process.”
Intermediate Risk Analysis Mobile Training Course
• Builds on the foundation established in the introductory course and delves deeper into risk analysis methods and tools for fusion center analysts.
• Focuses instruction, demonstrations, and exercises on enhancing qualitative analytic approaches with semi-quantitative and quantitative techniques.
• Provides analysts with an understanding and hands-on use of risk matrices and analytic tools to assist in the performance of risk analyses.
