Course Description

This intermediate course is for fusion center analysts and is designed to serve as a regional delivery, meaning analysts from fusion centers within the State or in neighboring States are encouraged to participate, based upon available space.

The introductory course is a prerequisite for the intermediate course for all attending analysts.

This on-site three-day course will support the fusion center’s ability to achieve Critical Operational Capability 2:  Analyze, which is defined as the “ability to assess local implications of threat information through the use of a formal risk assessment process.”

Intermediate Risk Analysis Mobile Training Course

Builds on the foundation established in the introductory course and delves deeper into risk analysis methods and tools for fusion center analysts.

Focuses instruction, demonstrations, and exercises on enhancing qualitative analytic approaches with semi-quantitative and quantitative techniques.

Provides analysts with an understanding and hands-on use of risk matrices and analytic tools to assist in the performance of risk analyses.
