Applications, Simulations & Quality (ASQ) Division The members of the Applications, Simulations & Quality Division partner with WCI, Engineering, Physics and institutional programs to develop and deploy production-quality software systems that enhance the nation's security. ASQ members design software for developing and interrogating important material properties, as well as designing and controlling experiments and facilities. Their extensive knowledge of parallel computing enables development of flexible, efficient, parallel frameworks for multi-physics codes, as well as the analysis of the large data sets generated by these simulations. The strong coupling between ASQ and its customers allows ASQ to anticipate and influence the directions of software development.
