Welcome to the Business R&D Survey (BRD-1S) home page.
This site is designed to help businesses complete the Business R&D Survey. Information includes frequently asked questions, online services such as form remails and time extensions, as well as other sources of assistance.

The 2012 Business R&D Survey will begin mail out in January 2013. The due date will be 30 days after receipt.
Excel Workbook
The following excel file is designed to help companies collect information related to specific sections of the Business R&D Survey. Please make sure to used only the workbook that match the form type your company was mailed. Click here for more information.
NOTE: The excel BRD-1(S) workbook is only to be used as a tool in your company's data collection process. You will not be able to upload the data into the online reporting system.
