2/8/2013 - BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The Air Force Assistance Fund Campaign kicked off Feb. 8 at the Buckley AFB Chapel.
This is a chance to give to a charitable organization that gives back to our Air Force members, said Col. Dan Dant, 460th Space Wing commander. It's easy to give to and it directly impacts the people of Team Buckley.
Team Buckley's goal for the campaign is 50 percent member participation and more than $29,000 in donations, according to Tech. Sgt. Pourshia Chambers-Motley, the AFAF installation project officer.
The AFAF has provided aid in the past for multiple situations to include loans for unexpected vehicle repairs, grants for education and support for funeral travel.
For more information on how to donate, contact your unit AFAF representative or the Airman and Family Readiness Center at 720-847-6681.
