AFN Europe EB9A Satellite setup

Minimize
AFN’s satellite delivery platform has changed, requiring viewers who have an AFN decoder and satellite dish in their home to make some changes to continue to get AFN TV.

Direct-to-home viewers will need to configure their home decoder and align their satellite dish from the current satellite Hotbird 6/9 at 13 degrees East, to the new satellite, Eurobird 9A (EB9A) at 9 degrees East.  Clip-on satellite devices may allow viewers in Italy to access both SKY Italia and AFN services simultaneously.

Since the process of setting up a dish and adjusting a decoder varies according to decoder model, location and other variables, the help desk and on-line materials are especially critical. You can find manuals and how-to-videos in English, German and Italian on this page.
