CPL Zachary Burke was born in Indiana in the small town of Carmel.  The youngest of two , in a 4^th generation army family. Had the opportunity to see the world courtesy of his father’s career in military aviator. Realizing the private sector was not for him, he decided to join the Army in 2007. His first duty stations was at Fort Meade with the prestigious 55^th Combat Camera. He deployed in 2011 in support of  4^th Brigade , 101^st Airborne Division Special Troops Battalion as their personal combat photographer. He returned to Maryland after having multiple pictures published from down range.  He now calls AFN  BENELUX home.  CPL Burke looks forward to bringing his experience and talent to the team. A fun addition to his story, he lived in Jurbise, right between two of our military communities here in Belgium, as a kid and he thinks he has been drawn back to enjoy Europe and all that it has to offer.

Zach’s hobbies include travelling , meeting new people , photography and driving his highly modified Twin Turbo Nissan 350z sports car.
