OCC RegulationsOCC is the primary regulator of banks chartered under the National Bank Act (12 U.S.C.1 et seq.) and Federal savings associations chartered under the Home Owners Loan Act of 1933 (12 U.S.C. 1461 et seq.). You will find OCC's regulations, derived from these acts, in Title 12- Banks and Banking (12 CFR Parts 1-199). Note: The OCC is reviewing regulations developed by the former Office of Thrift Supervision; updates will be published as they are developed and approved.
