Information about the Sun is published in Section C of The Astronomical Almanac. The data include notes and formulae for: the mean orbital elements; apparent ecliptic coordinates; times of transit; elements of rotation; and heliographic coordinates. Daily tabulations of ecliptic and equatorial coordinates, distance, horizontal parallax, semi-diameter and ephemeris transit time are given. Daily geocentric rectangular coordinates are tabulated for the edition year.
