African Program for Onchocerciasis Control

The African Program for Onchocerciasis Control (APOC) is a partnership launched in 1996 to extend the delivery of ivermectin for the control of onchocerciasis. The program includes 19 countries and operates primarily through a network of international and local nongovernmental organizations. The World Bank serves as the fiduciary agent for APOC.
