The U.S. Army Deployment Health Assessment Program (DHAP) is an Army-wide program that seeks to improve the physical and emotional strength and readiness of Soldiers and Army Civilians – before, during and after deployment.

The DHAP manages a sequence of deployment health assessments (DHAs) – the Pre, the Post and the Reassessment (PDHRA) which are specifically designed to assess the health of Soldiers and Army Civilians during the deployment cycle. Most importantly, the program provides priority of care to Soldiers and Army Civilians who have sustained deployment health related injuries and conditions downrange.
