Governmentwide Capital Planning & Investment Control

The Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies manages the Electronic Capital Planning and Investment Control (eCPIC) Program Management Office (PMO) under its Capital Planning Program. eCPIC is the government-owned application designed to help agencies automate the select, control and evaluation of information technology (IT) and non-IT initiatives, portfolio management processes, and the preparation and submission of budget data to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

Nineteen Federal agencies including GSA use the eCPIC shared service to determine the most efficient allocation of their IT portfolios to meet agency missions. The eCPIC PMO provides software enhancements including automatic A-11 updates, technical and help desk support, and training to shared service users.
