Gunfighter 1 visits Whidbey Island

An F-15E “Strike Eagle” from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, arrives Jan. 14 to NAS Whidbey Island with U.S. Air Force Col. ‘RPG’ shoots down Santa?

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho – An F-15E Strike Eagle rushes to assist Santa Claus and serves as his wingman as he delivers presents around the world. Flying a ‘sleigh’ powered by two Pratt and Whitney engines and capable of flying at speeds in excess of 1,800 mph, Maj.
