NIAP to review Product Compliant List (22 August 2012)

NIAP is currently reviewing the NIAP Product Compliant List for products surpassing 5 years from the date certified. As per the NIAP Publication #6 (http://www.niap-ccevs.org/policy/ccevs/guidance_docs.cfm), products with 5+ years of certification must be reviewed to ensure they are still available through the manufacturer or vendor and/or supported in the evaluated configuration.

All products that do not meet NIAP Publication #6 shall be placed on the Archived Validated Product List (AVPL). This is a repository of products validated under the CCEVS which are no longer commercially available. Products on the AVPL may still be employed within the organization or activity IT infrastructure.
