- Madrigal-Ballesteros has an active arrest warrant issued by the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas for Harboring/Transporting Undocumented Aliens. Eleven people boarded a grain hopper in Harlingen, Texas, and later died of suffocation. Their bodies were found in Denison, Iowa, in October 2002. Madrigal-Ballesteros is alleged to have put the aliens in the grain hopper.
