Programs
The Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD) as part of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) administers a third of the Federal Lands Highway Program, serving the needs of fourteen central and western states. Program administration covers stewardship and oversight responsibilities associated with preservation, safety, and mobility that are entrusted to Federal Lands Highway (FLH) to improve the transportation systems serving Federal and tribal lands. CFLHD administers the engineering and construction administration of forest highway system roads, parkways and park roads, Indian reservation roads, defense access roads, and other federal lands roads. CFLHD also provides training, technology, deployment, engineering services, and products to other customers.
