Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark are all proven and enthusiastic investors in the U.S. market.  With strong, stable economies, these advanced markets have high-tech companies in biotech, IT, advanced manufacturing, food/drink and many other sectors that see the U.S. as a required market.  This package is a cost efficient way for EDOs to reach three high-value Northern European markets, as a stand-alone or as a follow-on from the Hannover Fair.

Brussels, Belgium: April 15, 9am-2pm  Investment promotion seminar at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence (located next to the U.S. Embassy), followed by a walking lunch.  Belgian companies will hear about how to invest the US market, and can then meet with EDOs during the walking lunch.  Each EDO will have a meeting table, and will be featured in on-line and printed promotional materials. 

Eindhoven, Netherlands:  April 16, 9-3pm:  The second edition of the “Nation Branding & Investment Expo”  (www.nbiexpo.com ) will take place in Einhoven on April 16, 17 and 18.  The U.S. Commercial Service will have a booth to promote all participating EDOs during the entire three day event.  EDOs have the option to have their own staff at the show for the full three days, if desired, for no additional charge. The roadshow group will be at the Expo on its opening day.  The program that day includes:

-          Seminar on Investing in the U.S.:  20 minute over view plus each EDO can make a 5 minute presentation on their locality.

-          Online matchmaking program with visitors

-          Networking reception at the U.S. booth

Rotterdam, Netherlands:  April 17, 9am-2pm:  Investment promotion seminar followed by walking lunch, organized by the US Commercial Service in cooperation with the Rotterdam Chamber of Commerce, and other government and local entities.   Dutch companies will hear about how to invest in the US market, and can then meet with EDOs during the walking lunch.  Each EDO will have a meeting table, and will be featured in on-line and printed promotional materials.

Copenhagen, Denmark:  April 18, 9am-2pm:  Investment promotion seminar followed by walking lunch, organized by the US Commercial Service at a downtown hotel.   Danish companies will hear about how to invest in the US market, and can then meet with EDOs during the walking lunch.  Each EDO will have a meeting table, and will be featured in on-line and printed promotional materials.
