Chairman Rogers Welcomes Rep. Mike Pompeo to the House Intelligence Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Chairman Mike Rogers today welcomed the appointment of Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS) to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).  House Speaker John Boehner appointed Rep. Pompeo to the House Intelligence Committee, which provides oversight budget authorization for the 17 intelligence agencies of the United States.

“Mike will be an outstanding addition to the House Intelligence Committee.  He is a graduate of West Point and Harvard Law School, and is a solid leader who serves Kansas well.  He also brings specific technical expertise that will serve the Committee well.  I look forward to working with him on the Committee.”
