The United States Marine Corps is responsible for providing power projection from the sea,
utilizing the mobility of the U.S. Navy to rapidly deliver combined-arms task forces to global crises.
The U.S. Marine Corps uses non-lethal weapons to:
- Augment lethal weapons
- Deny, move, disperse and suppress personnel
- Deny access to facilities
- Warn/Stop vehicles and small vessels
- Disable materiel
- Provide Marines with hands-on training in using non-lethal weapons
