Marines, sailors, soldiers and airmen assigned to the Joint Prisoners of War, Missing in Action Accounting Command prepare to deliver memorial wreaths during a National Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Recognition Day ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Sept. 21, 2012. Veterans and active duty service members were among the approximately 500 attendees. During the ceremony, retired Army Col. William S. Reeder, Jr., spoke about his year spent as a POW in Vietnam after his plane was shot down during combat operations.
