CQM Training
The U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s Close Quarters Marksmanship (CQM) Course is a 10-day program, held at Ft. Benning, Georgia. The focus of the course addresses the Soldier’s need to rapidly and accurately engage targets at 0-150 meters under normal conditions. SDM Training
The Squad Designated Marksmanship Course is a 10-day training program held at Ft. Benning, Georgia. The focus of the course is on the Soldier’s need to rapidly engage targets at 300-600 meters with accurate fires under day and night conditions. The program begins with the fundamentals of marksmanship and progresses to more rapid and accurate engagements employing the individual rifle.

Top junior shooters invited to Benning for National Championship

Army Marksmanship Unit expands to include Wounded Warriors
FORT BENNING, Ga. —
The Army recently announced the expansion of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) to include 24 Wounded Warriors as members of its new Paralympic and Instructor sections.
