Senator Stabenow Applauds Chrysler for Continuing to Invest in Michigan Manufacturing Plants, Create New Michigan Jobs
U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, co-Chair of the Senate's bipartisan Manufacturing Caucus, today applauded Chrysler's announcement that it will invest $238 million in three Michigan plants and create 1,250 jobs at facilities in Detroit, Warren and Trenton.
"It's exciting to see our auto companies continuing their resurgence, making more vehicles here in Michigan and creating thousands of new Michigan jobs," said Stabenow. "Once again it is clear that standing up for our auto industry and for American workers was the right thing to do. If we continue to support our companies, they can continue creating jobs and developing the new advanced technologies that will help Michigan compete and win in the global economy."
