The only public, FREE museum in Aurora, Colorado, the Aurora History Museum is a community-based cultural center featuring changing history, natural history, culture, fine and decorative arts exhibits and programs.
Location: 15051 E. Alameda Parkway Aurora, CO 80012 We are located in the Aurora Municipal Center Complex, next to the Aurora Central Library and the Aurora Municipal Justice Center.

Programs & Events Volunteer for the Museum Aurora's Historic Sites Support the Aurora History Museum by becoming a member of the Aurora Museum Foundation! Saturday, Feb. 9; 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Join the Denver Chinese Cultural Center as they present traditional folk dances, storytelling, crafts & customs in celebration of Chinese New Year. Stay as long as you'd like & enjoy an afternoon of fun with your family! Cost: $4 ($3 Aurora Residents) Advanced reservations are not required, however, seating at performance is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Victorian Valentines Workshop Sunday, Feb. 10
Two Classes: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Open to ages 6 to adult. Discover the history & creativity of old-fashioned, handmade, elaborately decorated Victorian Valentine cards & create cards for your loved ones. Location: Centennial House, 1671 Galena Street, Aurora Cost: $5 or $4 for Aurora Residents per person. All children under 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Advanced reservations are required.
