We are deeply saddened by the passing of Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii on December 17, 2012, and offer condolences to his family. Senator Inouye was truly a champion of robust U.S.-Asia relations, particularly between the United States and Japan, and NBR is grateful for his role in the organization’s founding. His legacy will live on in Congress and in U.S.-Asia relations.
