Rep Walberg Nominates 20 Students to Service Academies

Washington, D.C. - Rep Tim Walberg has nominated 20 students from Michigan’s 7th district for appointment to U.S. Service Academies. The nominees will now be considered for the 2017 class at West Point, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy.

“It’s a privilege to nominate such bright and driven students to our country’s top military academies. There they will be challenged mentally and physically, but I am confident in their ability to continue making us proud and one day join our nation’s finest servicemen and women. I wish them the best in all their endeavors,” commented Rep Walberg following the appointments.
