Sunday & Monday In South FLA: Cong. Ros-Lehtinen & Husband Dexter To Continue Years Long Tradition To Walk In Three Kings Parade; On Monday, Ileana Goes Live On Radio & TV As Well As Presents A U.S. Flag To Retiring Long Time Employee Of El Centro Mater

Miami, Florida – Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) has scheduled several events and live radio and TV interviews for Sunday, January 20th and Monday, January 21st. Below is a listing of the events and interviews in which Ileana will participate. Media is invited and encouraged to attend.

On Sunday, January 20th at 12 noon, Ileana and her husband, renowned lawyer and Vietnam veteran Dexter Lehtinen, will continue their years long tradition and walk in the 43rd Annual Three Kings Day Parade. The parade will run along Calle 8, between 4th and 17 Avenues in Little Havana, a community which Ileana is proud to represent in Congress.

On Monday, January 21st at 10:30 am, Ileana will be live on Actualidad 1020 AM radio station with host Nelson Rubio doing her weekly radio show “Hablando de Politica.” The 30 minute show discusses important local, national and international news of the day.

At 11:20 am, Cong. Ros-Lehtinen will attend the 45 year anniversary of the Centro Mater child care program that operates in Little Havana. During this anniversary celebration, a U.S. flag flown over the Capitol by Ros-Lehtinen’s office will be given to Miriam Roman, a 39 year employee of Centro Mater who is retiring. This event will take place at La Hermita de la Caridad Catholic Church, located at 3609 South Miami Avenue, Miami.

At 1:20 pm, the Congresswoman will be on a live segment of the Telemundo national TV network during its special coverage of President Obama’s inauguration.
