Laboratory-confirmed or suspected cases of gastrointestinal illness in either passenger or crew members caused by common enteric pathogens should be reported by either e-mail (vsp@cdc.gov) or telephone (1.800.323.2132) promptly to the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP).
