January is National Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials Awareness Month
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network recognizes the imperative need to advance scientific breakthroughs for this disease through clinical trials. PRESIDENT OBAMA SIGNS CANCER BILL INTO LAW: The Recalcitrant Cancer Research Act, formerly known as the Pancreatic Cancer Research & Education Act, has been signed into law by President Obama.
This historic cancer bill requires the NCI to create a long-term plan, or scientific framework, for pancreatic and other recalcitrant cancers to gauge its current efforts in the disease and make recommendations on ways to speed progress and improve outcomes. Learn more.
