Rockies first baseman Todd Helton, who will turn 40 years old in August, has said he will play ball in 2013. What role should he play for Colorado this upcoming season?

 Starter. When healthy, Helton can still flat-out hit, and his defense is without parallel.
 Bench player. Helton's hitting has already started to erode, and he's too prone to injury.
 Too soon. Who has time to think about the Rockies amid NFL's playoffs and NHL's return.
