Congressman Steve King delivered this opening statement at the 9-24-2010 Judiciary Committee hearing entitled "Protecting America's Harvests". Congressman King spoke about the costs of illegal immigration to the American labor force, and took exception to the claim made by Democrats on the committee that Americans won't do hard work. Among those invited by the Democrats to testify at the hearing was Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert.
