(Washington, D.C.)----If all goes as doctors expect, U.S. Rep. Howard Coble (R-NC) has to stay only one more night at a Greensboro hospital, the 6th District representative’s office announced Monday afternoon. Congressman Coble is expected to be discharged sometime Tuesday, December 27, from The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro where the 80-year-old representative has been recuperating from the effects of an upper respiratory illness.

Rep. Coble has been receiving in-patient physical therapy since he arrived at Cone Hospital on December 21. Congressman Coble was admitted to George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., on December 13 with an upper respiratory illness that depleted his sodium levels.

Rep. Coble will meet with the news media on Wednesday, December 28 to discuss his hospitalization.
