In the wake of Deadspin's ground shaking exposé on Manti Te'o's made-up dead girlfriend, Notre Dame's official website broke at around 5 p.m. It wasn't even the website of the same Notre Dame that Te'o attended (nd.edu), it was the website of Notre Dame College (Your Distant Learning Partner!)
4. Be at the center of a massive hoax to boost publicity: check. Crash an innocent college's website: check.
