The queen of all of the brunch drinks is the Bloody Mary. This popular cocktail is the answer to the morning craving for sweet, sour, and spice all in one glass, complete with enough liquor to get a weekend day started on the right foot. Denver's hot brunch spots feature attractive versions of this drink that range from classics executed with great skill to variations that include tomatillo mix or sangrita as a base, Dimi liquor, tequila, or gin as a spirit, and a range of toppings that can get even the clearest of minds dizzy.
The map below includes ten of Denver's best and most unique Bloody Marys, listed in no particular order. Don't hesitate to share your favorites in the comment section.
Guy Fieri is on the loose in Denver and he is making the rounds with a camera crew in tow getting to know some of the city's hot casual restaurants. Fieri is filming his popular Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, a show that airs on the Food Network, and Denver is well-represented this time around. On Monday and Wednesday, the crew spent whole days filming at the Denver Biscuit Company and Fat Sully's, both popular restaurants on East Colfax owned and operated by Ashleigh and Drew Shader.
Look at this crew getting ready to rock some pork and seafood and booze and desserts over at Old Major. Yesterday, the staff of the highly anticipated LoHi restaurant took to the cameras all in uniform and showing off their most serious professional smiles. From chef and owner Justin Brunson to pastry chef Nadine Donovan, general manager Jonathan Greschler, and barkeeps Courtney Wilson and Ryan Conklin, everyone was ready to strike a pose.
The restaurant's updated opening date is February 21.
