Congresswoman Hahn Statement on Passing of Senator Daniel Inouye

WASHINGTON—Congresswoman Janice Hahn released the following statement on the death of Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii:

"Senator Inouye leaves behind a lifetime of service. Whether it was when he was in the U.S. Army in WWII, or as a Honolulu prosecutor, or as the new state of Hawaii’s first Congressman, or as a titan of the Senate, Senator Inouye’s contributions to this country are truly awe-inspiring. I am saddened to hear such a long and illustrious life has drawn to an end."
