Brett Norman

Brett Norman is a health care reporter for POLITICO Pro. Before joining POLITICO, he worked as a science writer at The Rockefeller University. He previously covered the politics and policy of Medicare for Part B News and started out at the Pensacola News Journal, where he covered cops, courts and local and state government for five years and was nominated twice, as part of a team of reporters, for the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. He earned a master’s degree as a Bollinger Fellow at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and studied philosophy as an undergrad at the University of Chicago. He has a respectable tennis game and has played drums with various bands since high school.
