I just find it unthinkable that The Grey Lady would sink to the depths of bottom-feeders like Murdoch and his cronies. It is a genuine disgrace.

I am unimpressed, like WisePillow before me. If the proposed firewall goes up over your site, I consider you no better than the Murdoch spongers and will withdraw my subscription.

Let's put it this way: I'll have to resort to The Washington Post. Whilst the idea of charging your readership for a basic human right (which knowledge, like education and healthcare, is) doesn't seem to bother you all that much, perhaps the thought of somebody having to resort to that rag will.

I am an avid reader of the New York Times. Your paper is, without a doubt, my favorite and I'm on your website at least a couple of times a day. Unfortunately, now that your going to begin charging people to read your news online, I'm going to have to switch to a different paper who doesn't. Which is quite sad. You are a prestigious paper and you are the only paper I read.
