We hear the debate about any type of control is a violation of our 2nd Amendment right; when does the right to bear arms began age 3, age 5, age 7, 12, age 14, age 16? Why hasn't the debate addressed a "ban" for those under 18 or 21? Why do our children have the right to bear arms? It is children taking the guns of their mothers, their fathers, their uncles, their grandfathers. Why are we not proposing something to counteract this problem? Why should we fear children? Why should children have the right to bear arms? They don't have the right to vote till their 18. So if caregivers, parents and other adults are giving these children guns, Why don't we make this a crime? I have not heard anyone suggest this be a crime and hold the adults who leave access to these guns responsible.
