Mission:
Our mission is to use a "one stop shop" concept to register and/or
permit
motor carriers operating throughout the U.S., Canada, and
within Idaho according to Idaho law, the
International Registration Plan (IRP), the
International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), rules of
the Internal Revenue Service, and special
interstate agreements. To ensure consistent and
uniform compliance with motor carrier laws, rules,
and regulations; to provide quality assistance and
information; and to assist in the preservation of
the highway system and safety of the traveling public.
