No. 8 Stanford swam easily in its first meet of the new year, recording top times in all events. Bryan Offutt won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 9:20.13 for the Cardinal.

Arizona Athletics

Arizona leapt from No. 13 to No. 3, according to the CSCAA Poll released on Wednesday. Wildcat Kevin Cordes became the first male to break the 1:51 mark in the 200 breaststroke on Dec. 1.

Harvard Athletics

Harvard's Chuck Katis broke two school records in the 100 breast 200 breast and at the University of Georgia Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. Harvard placed sixth overall in the meet.

Ohio State Athletics

No. 10 Ohio State won its fourth Ohio State Invitation in a row on Sunday after three days of competition. The Buckeyes won 10 of the 18 races, including Steve Zimmerman's win in the 200 backstroke.
