Satuit buys Lync.NET assets

Satuit Technologies Inc. reports it has acquired the assets of Lync.NET, a Salt Lake City, Utah company making business process automation software for financial advisers and money managers.

GTC Biotherapeutics to be delisted from Nasdaq

GTC Biotherapeutics Inc., a developer of drug candidates using genetic materials derived from animals, said it is unlikely to regain compliance to list its shares on the Nasdaq Stock Market and that it has taken steps to trade in the over-the-counter market as it advances its research.

MIT Clean Energy Prize semifinalists named

The MIT Clean Energy Prize reports it has chosen its semifinalists, who will compete for the $200,000 grand prize in May. Each team will be matched with an industry mentor and a legal mentor in the run-up to the winner being announced May 3.

Fluidnet rounds out $17M backing for IV fluid pumps

Fluidnet Inc. has raised an additional $7.5 million to bring to market an improved design for intraveneous fluid pumps used in hospital settings. The new financing brings the company’s total investment so far to $17 million.

Aveo Pharmaceuticals prices IPO at $81M

Aveo Pharmaceuticals Inc. has priced its initial public offering, which could net up to $81 million for the Cambridge oncology-focused biotechnology firm. The amount falls short of the company’s expected offering amount from its registration statement.

    High Tech All-Stars Celebrate the Mass High Tech All Stars

    Each year, Mass High Tech honors the New England tech industry’s pioneers and leaders from such sectors as: Advanced Energy, Biotech, Electronics, Hardware, Internet, Medical Devices, Software and Telecommunications. We also recognize those in support services who make it possible for entrepreneurship to thrive in the region, including lawyers, financiers, educators, public policy makers and association representatives.
