For instructors who are looking for a comphrehensive curriculum-base lesson plans about the Klondike Gold Rush  we are pleased to offer you "Seattle's Stake in the Klondike Gold Rush.

For instructors that are limited by time and looking for activities to supplement their Klondike Gold Rush studies the following Activity Lesson Plans were adapted our "Seattle's Stake in the Klondike Gold Rush" curriculum.

The Klondike Gold Rush was a key event in the economic development of Seattle and the Puget Sound region. In 1897, seventy thousand stampeders headed for Seattle to equip themselves with a year's worth of food, clothing, and equipment so that they could live in the Yukon Territory of Canada as they sought their fortunes.
