School groups of all ages are welcome to visit Tuzigoot National Monument. Children under sixteen are admitted at no cost. Teachers and chaperones are waived from the $5 fee by filling out the Fee Waiver form (see Preparing for Your Visit, below).

In order to give your group the best experience possible, we ask that reservations be made at least two weeks in advance. For reservations or more information, please call us at (928) 567-3322 or e-mail us

 

When you call to make a reservation, please have the following information ready:

  • School name and address
  • Contact person and phone number
  • Planned date and time of arrival
  • Number of students and grade level
  • Number of teachers/chaperones (please note we ask for a ratio of 10:1)
  • If you would like to have a Park Ranger talk to your class, please let us know at this time.

 

Preparing for your visit:

In order to prepare yourself and your students for your visit please:

1. Print a copy of the Fee Waiver form and return both the form and required documentation to Tuzigoot by fax or mail. More information is available in the Fee Waiver Directions. Completing this process at least 2 weeks in advance will ensure that teachers and chaperones are waived from paying the $5 fee.
