Ketcham, Congressman Petri and his wife Dede's English Bulldog, was honored by the Humane Society on June 14, 2011, with the award for "Elder Statesdog." The competition reviewed over 230 applicants among Members, Senators, and staff. Rep. Petri stated in his acceptance speech that "Ketcham may be an English Bulldog, but is 100% American, and 100% Badger."
