B-Roll of the transfer of authority (TOA) ceremony between outgoing unit, 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 25th Infantry Division, out of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and incoming unit, 4th Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division, out of Fort Carson, Colo. For the last year the soldiers of the 3rd BCT, under the command of COL Richard Kim have helped Afghan forces secure the provinces in their area of operation, which include Nangarhar, Kunar Nuristan and Laghman. As 3rd BCT returns to Hawaii, they relinquish their battlespace to the 4th BCT. Hailing from Ft. Carson, Co. the 4th BCT, lead by COL James Mingus hopes to further the inroads that their predecessors have made, curbing the counter insurgency and promoting local governance. To reflect the transfer of authority the area of operation known as Taskforce Bronco under 3rd BCT, in now Taskforce Mountain Warrior. Produced by Sgt. Tanangachi Mfuni.
